Chaoyang Town, Liaoning Province, Tieling County, under the jurisdiction of Changtu County town, located in the northern part of Changtu County, eight towns southeast of the town, east of the town of Maojiadian, south of the town of Kailu, Siho 2 towns, west and northwest of the town of Dawu, eight towns, north and northeast of the Ping'an, the old Siping 2 towns, the administrative region covers an area of 107 square kilometers.
In 1956, Chaoyang, Sanjiajia, Guangwen 3 villages merged into Chaoyang Township; in March 1997, it was changed to Chaoyang Township. As of the end of 2018, Chaoyang Township had a household population of 21,266. As of June 2020, Chaoyang Township has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
