Jieduo Town, belonging to Leping City, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southeastern part of Leping City, 5 kilometers away from downtown Leping, bordering with WuKou Town in the east, adjacent to Cormorant Township in the southeast, neighboring ZongBu Township and LeLin Township in the south, bordering with Tashan Street in the southwest, connecting with Kidder City Street in the west, bordering with HouGang Township in the northwest and Hi-tech Science and Technology Park in the north. The administrative area covers 84.99 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Jiedu Town was 80,682. In the old days, Jiedu Township was part of I and Wudu of Yongfeng Township and part of Badu of Changcheng Township in Leping County.In October 1958, Jiedu Commune was established, and in May 1984, it was abolished and changed into Jiedu Township.In 1988, Jiedu was abolished and established as a township.
