Jiangxi Province, abbreviated as "Gan", is a provincial-level administrative region of the People's Republic of China, with the capital city of Nanchang, located in southeastern China, on the south bank of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, between latitude 24°29′14″ and 30°04′43″ north and longitude 113°34′18″ and 118°28′56″ east, bordered by Zhejiang Province, Fujian Province, Guangdong Province to the south, Hunan Province to the west, and Hubei Province and Anhui Province to the north, which is the central hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta and the west coast of the Straits.
