Daying Town, belonging to Xinghua City, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the northeastern part of Xinghua City, bordering Baiju Town, Dafeng City, Yancheng City, to the east, Hechen and Yongfeng Towns to the south, Xinyai Town to the west, and Liuzhuang Town, Dafeng City, Yancheng City, to the north, across the river, with an administrative area of 50.81 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Daying Town was 26,162.
In the 18th year of the Republic of China (1929), it belonged to the Sixth District of Xinghua County, and was set up as Yingdong Township and Yingxi Township.In February 2002, the township was abolished, and Daying Town was established.
