Chenbao Town, belonging to Xinghua City, Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the southwestern part of Xinghua City, connected to Dainan Town in the east, adjacent to Zhouzhuang Town in the south, bordering with Wujian Town, Jiangdu District, Yangzhou City in the west, and neighboring Lincheng Street in the north, with an area of 80.57 square kilometers in the administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Chenbao Town has a household population of 44,148. Since May of the 33rd year of the Republic of China (1944), it has belonged to Xingdong County and Qintong County; in 1983, it was reorganized as Chenbao Township; in May 1999, the township was withdrawn, and Chenbao Town was built. As of June 2020, Chenbao Town has 1 community and 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at No. 8, West Renmin Road. In 2019, Chenbao Town has 175 industrial enterprises, of which 26 are above scale, and 32 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
