Changshu City, abbreviated as Yu, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiangsu Province, administered by Suzhou City, is located in southeastern Jiangsu Province, on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, bordered by the Yangtze River in the north, across the river from Nantong City, neighboring Taicang City in the east, Xiangcheng District and Kunshan City of Suzhou City in the south, connecting Xishan District and Jiangyin City of Wuxi City in the west, and bordering Zhangjiagang City in the northwest.
