The Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone has developed and constructed the Riverside Industrial Zone, the International Chemical Industrial Park, the Tonggang Industrial Park, the High-Tech Park, and the Riverside New District to cater to different industries. Among these, the Tonggang Industrial Park is one of the key functional zones planned and constructed by the Development Zone.The Riverside Industrial Zone has a planned area of 36 square kilometers. Its primary industries include manufacturing sectors such as energy, papermaking, steel, chemicals, automotive parts, machinery processing, electronics, and new materials, as well as logistics industries such as transportation, warehousing, and bonded zones. As a key component of the Development Zone’s industrial layout, the Tonggang Industrial Park serves as a hub for the clustering and development of related industries.
