Bin County, belongs to Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. Bin County is located in the south of Heilongjiang Province, bordering Fangzheng County, Yanshou County and Shangzhi City to the southeast by the Watershed Ridge, Bayan County, Mulan County and Tonghe County to the north across the Songhua River, and neighboring Acheng District to the west by the Gifuktu River. The total area is 3843 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Bin County was 444,314 people.
Bin County is located in the south bank of the Songhua River, Zhang Guangcai Ling western foothills tributary. The territory is mountainous and hilly, and the terrain is high in the south and low in the north. It is a mid-temperate continental monsoon climate zone, with an average annual temperature of 3.9 degrees Celsius and an average annual precipitation of 681 millimeters. In 2020, the county's GDP grew by 0.3%, fixed asset investment grew by 23%, total retail sales of consumer goods grew by 6.6%, and disposable income per capita of urban and rural residents grew by -1.2% and 7.1% respectively.In the first half of 2021, the county's GDP grew by 13.5%; the value-added of industries above designated size grew by 14.9%; fixed asset investment grew by 52.6% ; total retail sales of consumer goods increased by 26.6%.
