Bin'an Township, located in Bin County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the northeastern part of Bin County, bordering Chang'an Township to the east, Sanbao Township to the south, Jingjian Township to the west, and Xindian Township to the north.In 2018, the area was 157.16 square kilometers, with a household population of 31,199.
In the fourth year of the Republic of China (1915), it belonged to the fifth district. In the 35th year of the Republic of China (January 1946), it was changed to Bin'an District.In June 1949, it was renamed the Sixth District, and in October, it was renamed the Seventh District.In September 1958, the town of Bin'an and the two townships of Xindian and Minyou were merged to form the Bin'an Commune.In March 1984, the commune was changed to a town.
