Fengshan Township, belonging to Fengning Manchu Autonomous County of Chengde City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Fengning Manchu Autonomous County, adjacent to Taipingzhuang Township of Longhua County in the east, adjacent to Polono Township in the southeast and south, connected to Shirengou Township in the southwest, connected to Wangying Township in the west, and bordering Beitouying Township in the north, with an area of 362.62 square kilometers and a household population of 37,295 as of the end of 2018.
From September 1945 to May 1946, it belonged to Fengshan District of East Fengning County.In April 1950, it was changed to the Ninth District of Fengning County.In June 1984, the commune was abolished and the town of Fengshan was re-established.In January 1989, the four townships of Shangguanying, Zhushuying, Dongtouying, and Liuying were merged into the township. As of June 2020, Fengshan Township has 1 community and 34 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
