Dongjinzhuang Township, belonging to Lianchi District of Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the eastern part of Lianchi District, bordering Qingyuan District in the east, Qingyuan District and Yangzhuang Township in the south, Hanzhuang Township in the west across the 107 National Highway, and Bailou Township in the north. The people's government of the township is located in Dongjinzhuang Village. It has a total area of 15.3 square kilometers and a total household population of 21,503 (2018).
In 1952, Liangzhuang Township was set up, and in 1984, it was changed to Shangzhuang Township.In 1985, it was renamed Dongjinzhuang Township.In 1998, six villages of Mijiati, Lanxinzhuang, Hexinzhuang, Yindinzhuang, Donghouying, and Fucun of Dayang Township of Qingyuan County (the old name of Qingyuan District of Baoding) were transferred into the village; and the village of Xikangzhuang of Yangzhuang Township of the southern metropolitan area of the former Baoding City was transferred into the village. As of October 2023, Dongjinzhuang Township has 5 community residents' committees and 17 villagers' committees.
