Nansi Township, belonging to Xingbin District, Laibin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern part of Xingbin District, bordering Wuxuan, Ertang and Huang Mao Townships of Wuxuan County, Nanning Shi in the east, adjoining Luxin Township in the south, neighboring Mengcun Township and Tishan Township in the west, and Gao'an Township in the north. The area is 176 square kilometers, with a household population of 39,849 as of the end of 2019.
In 1937, it was called Nansi Township, which was the beginning of the name of Nansi Township; in 1952, it was called Nine Districts; in 1968, it was called Nansi Commune; and in 1984, it was called Nansi Township until now. As of June 2020, there are 10 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Nansi Township.
In 2019, Nansi Township has 10 industrial enterprises and 13 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
