Xingbin District, under the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Laibin City, is located in the central part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, between longitude 108 ° 44 ′ ~ 109 ° 36 ′, latitude 23 ° 16 ′ ~ 24 ° 04 ′, located in the lower reaches of the Hongshui River, with a total area of 4,364.18 square kilometers. The climate of Xingbin District is subtropical monsoon, with drought in winter and spring, and heavy rainstorms in summer and fall. As of October 31, 2022, Xingbin District has 4 streets, 16 towns, 4 townships, and 1 other township-level unit under its jurisdiction, with the district government located in Chengdong Street. As of the end of 2022, Xingbin District has a total household population of 1,145,400 and a resident population of 929,200. The earliest predecessor of Xingbin District was Wen'an County, which was established in the fourth year of Wude (612) of the Tang Dynasty. Later, it was changed from Wen'an County to Lesha County.
