Park Overview
The Guangxi ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone (hereinafter referred to as the “ASEAN Development Zone”) is located in the northern suburbs of Nanning, more than 30 kilometers from the city center. With a current population of over 80,000 and a total area of 180 square kilometers, it is the largest overseas Chinese farm in China, a key partner of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, and a key industrial park within the Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.In March 2013, with the approval of the State Council, the ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone was upgraded to a national-level economic and technological development zone, ushering in new strategic development opportunities.
The ASEAN Economic and Technological Development Zone boasts a prominent geographical advantage and convenient, efficient transportation. The Lanhai Expressway and the Nanning-Wuming Urban Expressway provide direct access to the zone, while the northern extension of Nanning Metro Line 2 andand the Guiyang-Nanning Railway will establish dedicated stations within the zone. This infrastructure forms a “triple-dimensional land-water-air” transportation network encompassing a 30-minute commuting circle around Nanning, a 1-hour airport economic circle, a 2-hour maritime logistics circle, and a 3-hour international trade circle, providing effective support for the convergence of people, goods, information, and capital. The ASEAN Economic Development Zone is rich in natural resources and boasts a beautiful ecological environment.
