Minle County, belonging to Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Zhangye City, bordering with Shandan County and Yongchang County in the east, Qilian County and Menyuan Huizu Autonomous County in the south, bordering with Sunan Yugu Autonomous County in the southwest, and adjoining Ganzhou District of Zhangye City in the west and northwest, with an area of 3,687.32 square kilometers. As of October 2022, Minle County has 10 towns under its jurisdiction and one industrial park. As of the end of 2022, Minle County had a resident population of 190,600.
Minle County is the "key" connecting Gansu Province and Qinghai Province, and has been the "throat" of the southern route of the eastern section of the Silk Road since ancient times. 5000 years ago, there were pioneers who lived and prospered in this area.
