Gangu County, belonging to Tianshui City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Gansu Province, northwest of Tianshui City and upstream of the Wei River. Gangu County has a temperate continental monsoon climate, with a total area of 1,572.6 square kilometers. As of the end of 2021, the resident population of Gangu County was 501,800.
