Shigou Town, belonging to Sihui City, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, is located in the western part of Sihui City, spreading on both sides of Sui River. It is connected to Huangtian Town in the north, Dengcun Town in the south, Qingtang Town in the east and Shunan Town in Gaoyao District in the west. The total area of the jurisdiction is 142.55 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Shidou Town has a household population of 27,454. After the 38th year of Ming Jiajing (1559), the right bank area of Suijiang River was assigned to Guangning County, and the left bank area belonged to Sihui County.In July 1954, the townships that were originally part of Guangning County were assigned to Sihui County, and belonged to the fourth district.In 1983, the community was abolished to establish a district.In March 1987, the district was abolished and changed to a town. As of June 2020, stone township jurisdiction 1 community, 10 administrative villages. The people's government of the town is stationed 112 meters northwest of Weiwei Village, Stone Dog Management Area, Sihui City.
