Luoyuan Town, belonging to Sihui City, Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, is located in the north of Sihui City, bordering with Qingyuan City, Qingxin District, bordering with Didou Town to the east and Weixing Town to the north. In the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Luoyuanpu. During the Republic of China, it was reorganized as a township. At the beginning of the liberation of the People's Republic of China, it remained a township.In April 1961, it was separated from Didou People's Commune to establish Luoyuan People's Commune.In August 1983, it was changed to a district.In March 1987, it was abolished as a district and established as a town.
