Chengcun Town, belonging to Yangxi County, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northeastern part of Yangxi County, bordering Baysha Street, Jiangcheng District, and Pinggang Town, Jiangcheng District, in the east, Fengtou River in the south, neighboring Tangkou Town and Zhitu Town in the west, and Hekou Town, Yangchun City, and Shuangjie Town, Yangdong District in the north, with an area of 197.76 square kilometers of administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Chengcun Town had a household population of 70,000.
From the first year of Ming Hongwu (1368) to the thirty-third year of Qing Guangxu (1907), it belonged to Guishan Township Pious Rudu II, III, and Situ.In 1987, the district was withdrawn to establish a town, called Chengcun Town.In April 1988, Yangxi established a county, and Chengcun was assigned to the jurisdiction of Yangxi County, called Chengcun Town in Yangxi County. As of October 2021, Chengcun Town has 1 community and 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Chengcun Wei.
