Deqing County, belonging to Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, is located in the central west of Guangdong Province, the north bank of the middle reaches of the Xijiang River, south of the Xijiang River and Yunfu City, Yunan County, Yunan District across the river. Area of 2003 square kilometers, jurisdiction over 13 towns (streets), 193 villages (residence). In the first year of Shaoxing of Song Dynasty (1131), Emperor Zhao Ju of Song Dynasty (1131), because he used Kangzhou as his residence, ordered to upgrade it to a prefecture and renamed it as Deqing prefecture, and the name of Deqing has been used ever since.
