Longevity Lake Town is located in the northeast corner of Longevity District, located in the middle and lower reaches of Longxi River Basin on the shore of Longevity Lake, 28 kilometers away from the main city of Longevity, 100 kilometers away from the main city of Chongqing. Longevity Lake Town is now under the jurisdiction of 13 administrative villages and 1 community neighborhood committee, 111 village groups, with an area of 104.53 square kilometers, 14,605 households, and a current population of 51,824, of which the agricultural population is 45,306. Longevity Lake Township is named after the beautiful Longevity Lake. The Longevity Lake Scenic Area will be constructed into a famous tourism business card in China and abroad, and the Longevity Lake Scenic Area will be listed in the Top Ten Scenic Areas of Chongqing Municipality. Taking this as an opportunity, in 2003, the committee and government of Changshou District proposed to take the Longevity Lake Scenic Area as a leader, accelerate the development of tourism resources in Changshou with all its strength, and build Changshou into a leisure and tourism resort in Chongqing.
