The original new town is located in the heart of Changshou, 10 kilometers away from the city, Chongqing main city 70 kilometers, south of the ferry boat street, north of the town of Ge Lan, east of Shuanglong, Longhe town border, west of the town of eight as neighbors. The town has 8 administrative villages: Heshijing Village, Xinshi Village, Xin Tong Village, Xinhe Village, Huimin Village, Hongtudi Village, Weirertuo Village and Dongmen Village. There are 54 villagers' groups.On June 15, 2015, Chongqing Municipal Government (Yufu 29) approved and agreed to abolish Xinshi Town and Baji Town, and set up Xinshi Street and Baji Street.
