Sunjia Town is the first window town of Wanzhou on Yuwan Expressway and a typical agricultural town. It is adjacent to Banshui Town of Wanzhou District in the east, and the township was abolished and established in 2001, with the township government stationed in Feilongqiao Residence Committee. The town covers an area of 46.2 square kilometers, with 7 villages, 1 neighborhood committee and 48 village (neighborhood) groups under its jurisdiction. The town has a total population of 4,655 households and 15,285 people, of which 731 are non-agricultural, with a cultivated area of 11,670 acres, of which 11,070 acres are fields, with a per capita cultivated land of 0.76 acres. Crops are mainly tobacco, rice, corn, wheat and vegetables, and cash crops are mainly tobacco, watermelon and tea. In addition to agricultural income, the main income of farmers is labor income. 2008, the number of foreign workers in the town was 4224, realizing labor income of 30 million yuan.
