Nanping Town is located in the west of Nanan District, Chongqing, 1 kilometer from the district government. It has five communities, namely Xinglong, Baiheyuan, Yuneng, Jinyang and Nantangyuan, and three administrative villages, namely Haitang, Four Kilometers and Ertang. There is Chongqing Yangtze River Bridge connecting Yuzhong District, and it is the starting point of Sichuan-Guizhou Highway and Nanping to Danzishi Highway.
