Located 34 kilometers north of Changshou District in Chongqing, Shiyan Town covers an area of 101.78 square kilometers, with 50,711 acres of arable land and 132 village groups in 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, making it the fourth largest town in the district. There are two large and medium-sized reservoirs, Fanjiaqiao and Sanjiagou, and rivers such as Peach Blossom Creek, Taoyu Creek and Longxi River flow from north to south parallel to the east, middle and west of the town. Convenient transportation, abundant water resources, and a mild climate bring convenience to the agricultural development of Shiyan Town. By 2010, the township's field population will reach 15,000, with a field area of 2 square kilometers.
