Wanshoulu Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Haidian District, Beijing, is located in the southwestern end of Haidian District, between longitude 116°14′49″~116°17′46″E and latitude 39°53′42″~39°55′08″N. It is adjacent to Cuiwei Road in the east and Yangfangdian Street in the south, bordering Lugouqiao Street in Fengtai District at Lianshi East Road. It is adjacent to Yangfangdian Street from Cuiwei Road in the east, Lianshi East Road in the south and Lugouqiao Street in Fengtai District, connected to Babaoshan Street and Lugu Street in Shijingshan District from Yuquan Road in the west, and adjoined by Yongding Road Street and Tiancun Road Street in the north. The total area of the jurisdiction is 6.56 square kilometers. As of the end of 2011, the total population of the jurisdiction of Wanshoulu Street was 173,788.
Wanshoulu Street was named Wanshoulu Street because it was located on Wanshoulu.In 1957, Shawo Street was established, and its jurisdiction included the jurisdiction of the current Wanshoulu Street and Yongding Road Street.In 1958, it was placed under the responsibility of the Residents' Work Department of Yubuantan Commune, and in 1962, it was restored to its original structure. As of October 2021, there are 27 neighborhoods under the jurisdiction of Wanshoulu Street. The street office is located in Building 11 of the Yongding Road Xili neighborhood.
As of the end of 2020, there are more than 3,000 enterprises and institutions in Wanshoulu Street, including 15 key enterprises and 5 large central enterprises. There are more than 120 central units, organs and municipal and district-level units in the district, including 74 central organs, accounting for 57% of the total number of units, and 55 municipal and district-level units, accounting for 43%.
