Yuelong Town, belonging to Ninghe District of Tianjin, is located in the northeastern part of Ninghe District. It is adjacent to Fengnan District of Hebei Province in the east, and Fengtai Town across the Xiaoxin River in the west. It is adjacent to Banqiao Town in the south; in the north, it borders with Xiaozhanggezhuang Town and Huanxizhuang Township of Fengrun District, Hebei Province. The town covers an area of 67.40 square kilometers, and as of 2019, Yuelong Town has a household population of 15,316. During the Qing and Republic of China periods, it belonged to Fengnan County.In 1995, Yuelong Town was established.In October 2015, Ninghe County was changed to Ninghe District, and Yuelong Town belonged to Ninghe District. As of June 2020, Yuelong Town has 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Yuelongzhuang Village. At the end of 2016, Yuelong Town completed the total financial income of 24.635 million yuan.
