Guan Guan, Shanxi Province, Xinzhou City under the jurisdiction of the county. The ancient name of the county is Linhu, began to call the biotou pass, biotou Zhai, the five generations set the biotou Halt, Yuan changed the biotou pass, Qing renamed bioguan county.
Guanxian County is located in the northwest border of Shanxi Province, in the Yellow River south into the intersection of Jin. North of the Great Wall and Inner Mongolia Qingshuihe County border, west of the Yellow River and Inner Mongolia Junggar Banner across the river, south and Hequ, Wuchai two counties connected to the east of Shenchi, Shuozhou two counties (cities) adjacent. The county is 60 kilometers long from east to west and 58 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 1,685.4 square kilometers. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Yiguan County was 73,382 people.
In 2020, the gross regional product of Yiguan County will complete 3.29 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 5.65%; the general public budget revenue will be 239 million yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 5.72%; the per capita disposable income of urban residents will be 25,083 yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 5.94%; and the per capita disposable income of rural residents will be 8,989 yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 9.85%.
The biotouguan and ningwuguan, yanmenguan together known as the Chinese three passes, is the Ming dynasty long wall outside the first of the three passes, biotouguan for the "three jin of the screen" "jin north of the lock and key".
On September 25, 2018, it was awarded the honorary title of "2018 Comprehensive Demonstration County of E-commerce into Rural Areas" by the Ministry of Commerce.On February 27, 2020, agreed by the Shanxi Provincial Government, Guanxian County withdrew from the poverty-stricken county.
