Jintian Township, belonging to Yao Du District of Linfen City, Shanxi Province, is located in the southwest of Yao Du District, adjacent to Yao Miao Township by Fen River in the east, Xiangling Township of Xiangfen County in the south, bordering with Pillow Township in the west, and connecting with Liu Village Township in the north and northeast. The town people's government is about 10 kilometers away from the district government. The total area of the town is 98.54 square kilometers. In October 1949, it was divided into the sixth and seventh districts of Linfen County.In 1953, it belonged to the sixth district of Linfen County.In July 1983, it belonged to the county-level Linfen City.In October 1984, Jintian Commune was changed to Jintian Town. As of the end of 2018, Jinden Town had a household population of 73,886. As of June 2020, Taling Town has 34 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Jintian Village. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Golden Temple Town was 130 million yuan, an increase of 1.2% over the previous year, and the added value of agriculture accounted for 9.8% of the town's gross regional product. The per capita net income of farmers was 5,964 yuan. Total output value reached 533 million yuan, down 22% from the previous year.
