Fengcheng Township, belonging to Houma City, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, is located in the eastern suburb of Houma City, about 8 kilometers away from the municipal government, adjacent to Lechang Township of Quwo County in the east, Jiang County of Yuncheng City in the south, Xintian Township in the west, and Zhangcun Street and Gaoxian Township of Quwo County in the north. The administrative area is 34.6 square kilometers. In 1949, it belonged to the third district of Quwo County.In 1958, it was set up as a township in Houma City.In 1962, it was set up as Fengcheng Commune.In 1984, Fengcheng Commune was changed to Fengcheng Township. As of 2018, Fengcheng Township has a household population of 19,161. As of June 2020, Fengcheng Township has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Fengcheng Village.
