Lu Jiawan Town, belonging to Datong City, Shanxi Province, Tianzhen County, is located in the northeastern part of Tianzhen County, east and Hebei Province, Huai'an County, the border, the south ring Yangmen Mountain and Zhangxihe Township apart, west of the Valley before the Fort Town, north of Qingliang Mountain and the new Pingburg Township to the mountains, the administrative region covers an area of 216.92 square kilometers.
In 1949, belonging to the sixth district of Tianzhen County; in July 1984, Lujiawan Commune changed Lujiawan Town; in March 2001, Xuanjia Tower Township merged into Lujiawan Town. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Lujiayan Township was 14,794. As of June 2020, Lujiayuan Township has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed in Xiawan Village.
