Jingle County, also known as Goose City, under the jurisdiction of Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, is located in Shanxi Province, northwestern Shanxi Province, Loess Plateau, west of Xinzhou City, northwest of Taiyuan City. It has a total area of 2,058 square kilometers, with 6 towns, 6 townships, 1 residential affairs center and 207 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Jingle County was 119,277. In 2020, the gross regional product of Jingle County reached 3.72 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 9.23%. It is adjacent to Xinfu District and Yangqu in the east, Louxiao and Gujiao in the south, Lanxian and Bali in the west, and Ningwu and Yuanping in the north. Taijia, Xinbao, Jingxing three high speeds across the county, Xinhei line, Ningbai line, Kangbei line network distribution, railroads have Ningjing Railway operation, Jingjing Railway started construction, completed and opened to traffic, the south is connected to the Taixing line, and the north is connected to the northern Tongpu line and Shuo Huang line. In October 2017, it was named a national garden county by the Ministry of Housing and Construction, and in July 2019, it was honored with the title of "China's Natural Oxygen Bar" creation area in 2019, and on February 27, 2020, it was awarded the title of "China's Natural Oxygen Bar" by the Ministry of Housing and Construction. On February 27, 2020, the government of Shanxi Province agreed to withdraw Jingle County from the poverty-stricken counties, and in July, the National Sanitation Association of China recognized Jingle County as the 2019 National Sanitation County City.
