Yimen Town, belonging to Baode County, Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, is located in the northern part of Baode County, east and Hequ County, Sheliang Township, south and Waizhuang Township adjacent to the west and north and Fugu County, Shaanxi Province, across the Yellow River, 7.5 km from Baode County, the total area of 89.35 square kilometers. In 1949, the territory of Yimen Town belonged to the fourth district of Baode County; in October 1984, it was changed from Nuanquan Commune to Yimen Town. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Yimen Town was 20,512. As of June 2020, Yimen Town has 27 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Yimen Village.
