Anze County, belongs to Linfen City, Shanxi Province. Located in the southwestern part of Shanxi Province, Linfen area in the northeast, the southeast foot of Taiyue Mountain. It is also called "Yueyang" because it is located in the sun of Huoshan Taiyue Mountain.
As of March 2022, Anze County has a total area of 1,967 square kilometers, with 6 towns, 66 administrative villages, and 5 neighborhood committees. Anze County, the county government, is the hometown of Xunzi, a great thinker in ancient China, and the habitat of Lin Xiangru, a famous ancient prime minister, as well as the memorial sites where revolutionaries of the old generation lived and fought all over the county. It is a national ecological demonstration area, a provincial forest park, the first county of forsythia production in China, and a large county of coal resources that has not yet been developed on a large scale. The Qin River, the second largest river in Shanxi and the only non-polluting river, runs through the territory for 109 km. In 2011, the crop planting area of Anze County was 385,860 acres, and 66 key projects were constructed, which strengthened the innate foundation for the development of industry and agriculture in Anze. As of March 2022, Anze County has a total population of 75,574 (39,648 males and 35,926 females); the county's resident population is 35,202 people.
On September 7, 2018, the Shanxi provincial government officially approved the withdrawal of Anze County from the "provincial poverty-stricken county" and announced it to the society.On September 26, 2018, Anze County was awarded the title of "China's Natural Oxygen Bar" in 2018.2020 China's top 100 summer leisure counties and cities. In 2017, Anze County's gross regional product was 463.34 million yuan, an increase of 1.5% over the previous year. Among them, the added value of the primary industry was 414.94 million yuan, an increase of 3.0%; the added value of the secondary industry was 315.19 million yuan, a decrease of 1.4%; and the added value of the tertiary industry was 106.327 million yuan, an increase of 10.4%. The added value of primary, secondary and tertiary industries accounted for 9.0%, 68.1% and 22.9% of the county's GDP respectively, and contributed 19.8%, -64.8% and 145% to the economic growth respectively.
