Tangcheng Town, belonging to Anze County, Linfen City, Shanxi Province, is located in the northwestern part of Anze County, bordering with Qinyuan County, Changzhi City in the east, southeast and south with the town of Hechuan, west and southwest of the town of Fucheng, and north of the ancient county of Beiping Town, the town's administrative area of 176.55 square kilometers. In 1956, it belonged to Tangcheng Township.In August 1958, Tangcheng Commune was set up.In June 1984, Tangcheng Commune was changed to Tangcheng Township.
