Yanliang District, belongs to Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the northeastern part of Xi'an, bordering Linwei District, Lintong District, Sanyuan County, and Fuping County in the southeast and northwest, respectively, with a total area of 244.5 square kilometers. As of October 2021, Yanliang District has seven streets under its jurisdiction.In 2021, Yanliang District had a resident population of 307,300, with a household population of 276,461 people. Yanliang District, named after the ancient town of Yanliang, was established in 1966 when Yanliang Township in Lintong County was transferred to Xi'an City. Yanliang District has a well-developed aviation industry and is a famous Chinese aviation city integrating aircraft design, manufacturing, appraisal, test flight, teaching and research. In 2023, Yanliang District realized a GDP of 30.25 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year.
