Lujiazui Street is located in the center of Pudong New Area, Shanghai. The area is bounded by Shen Road in the east, Zhang Yang Road in the south, Huangpu River in the west and north, covering an area of about 6.89 square kilometers.In 2012, Lujiazui Street had a population of 160,000, and in 2013 it had a household population of about 118,700, a foreign population of nearly 40,000, and 31 residential districts, with Century Boulevard, Pudong Boulevard, Pudong Road South, Dongfang Road, and Zhang Yang Road, etc., constituting a backbone of the regional public transportation network. The East Fuxing Road Tunnel, East Yan'an Road Tunnel and Dalian Road Tunnel connect the two sides of the Pujiang River, and subway lines 2, 4 and 9 run through the community. Lujiazui Street has been awarded "National Civilized Unit" for three times, and the tax revenue in 2012 was RMB 6.425 billion. Famous attractions include the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum and Shanghai Safari Park.
