Sanlin Town, belongs to Shanghai Pudong New Area. Located in the southwestern part of Pudong New Area, bordering Huangpu River in the west, depending on the Chuan Yang River in the north, neighboring Beicai Town and Kangqiao Town in the east, and Pujiang Town in Minhang District in the south. Sanlin Town was founded in the late Northern Song Dynasty, and finally in April 2000, and the former Yangsi Town and the former Sanlin Town to establish a new Sanlin Town.
