Cao Lu Town, belonging to Shanghai Pudong New Area, is located in the east of Pudong New Area, bordering the estuary of Yangtze River in the east, adjacent to Gaoxing Town, Jinqiao Town and Jinqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone in the west, Tang Town and Heqing Town in the south, and connecting with Gaodong Town, Waigaoqiao Bonded Zone and Waigaoqiao Port Area in the north, with a total area of 46.59 square kilometers. Cao Lu Town has a resident population of 203,600 in 2013, of which 74,100 are household residents and 129,500 are registered foreigners. For the whole year, it completed tax revenue of 2.075 billion yuan, local financial income of 575 million yuan, industrial output value of 22.258 billion yuan, total income of three industries of 84.73 billion yuan, and fixed asset investment of 2.846 billion yuan.
