Longquan Town, belonging to Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeastern part of Muping District, neighboring Jieshi Town, Wendeng City, to the east, relying on Kunbein Town to the south, Dayao Street to the west, and Jianggezhuang Street to the north, with an area of 106.19 square kilometers in the administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Longquan Town has a household population of 23,332. In the spring of the thirty-first year of the Republic of China (1942), 133 villages east of Shangzhuangkouzi were assigned to Wenshi County, and most of the villages in the realm were assigned to the Sixth District of Wenshi County; in April 1992, it was reorganized as Longquan Town; and in May 2010, eight villages, including Dongdengxiong and Xidandongxiong, were assigned to Kunbei Town. As of June 2020, Longquan Town has 52 administrative villages, and the town's people's government is located in Longquan Tang Village. In 2019, Longquan Town has 18 industrial enterprises, of which 2 are above scale, and 36 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
