The Yantai Fushan Economic and Technological Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone established in 1992 with the approval of the Shandong Provincial People’s Government. It covers an area of 24.83 square kilometers and comprises “one zone and three parks”: the core area of the Economic Development Zone, the Smart Manufacturing Core City Information Industry Park, the Jiahe Science and Technology Park, and the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park.
The development zone enjoys convenient transportation links, with the Shenhai Expressway, Provincial Highway 308, and the Zhonggu Line passing through the area. It is located within a 20-minute radius of Yantai Railway Station, Yantai Port, and Penglai International Airport, and is 210 kilometers from Qingdao. Air and sea transportation are readily available, and the area is crisscrossed by a network of roads and railways.
The surrounding area features comprehensive infrastructure, including water supply and drainage, power (both high and low voltage), as well as heating, steam, natural gas, and wastewater treatment facilities, meeting the "seven utilities and one leveling" standard. Annual capacity includes 360 million kWh of electricity, 1.6 million tons of steam, 30,000 cubic meters of daily water supply, and 40,000 tons of daily wastewater treatment.
In terms of industry, the Fushan Economic and Technological Development Zone focuses on green construction and prefabricated construction. Leveraging the strong local building materials industry, it has attracted more than 20 enterprises, including Shanshui Cement and Zhonglian Cement, with eight of them being large-scale industrial enterprises.
