Xiachu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Lushan City, Weihai City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeastern part of Lushan City, east of Fengjia Town, south of Xiacun Town and Dagushan Town, west of Wuji Town, and north of Muping District, Yantai City, with an administrative area of 126.31 square kilometers. Xiachu Town originally belonged to the eighth and ninth districts of Muping County; in 1950, it belonged to the seventh district of Lushan County; in June 1989, the township was withdrawn to establish Xiachu Town. As of the end of 2018, the household population of Xiachu Township was 27,656. As of June 2020, there are 37 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Xiachu Town. In 2018, the total industrial and agricultural output value of Xiachu Town realized 4.268 billion yuan. Among them, the total industrial output value was 1.057 billion yuan, and the total agricultural output value was 3.211 billion yuan.
