Liushan Town, belonging to Linqu County, Weifang City, Shandong Province, is located in the eastern part of Linqu County, bordering Bidu Town, Changle County in the east, Baita Town, Changle County in the south, Xinzhai Town in the west and Longgang Town in the north. The people's government of the town is 29 kilometers away from the county town. The administrative area covers 97.17 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Liushan Town had a household population of 41,481.
In January 1958, the district was withdrawn to establish a township as Liushan Township.In October 1958, Liushan Commune was established.In 1984, it was renamed Liushan Township after being precipitated out of Xinshan Township.In 1993, Xinshan Township was withdrawn and merged into Liushan Township.In 1996, the village of Huangzupo was precipitated and assigned to Changle County, and the former village of Wujiaguanzhuang in Baita Township was assigned to Liushan Township. As of June 2020, Liushan Township has 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Liushanzhai Village.
