Shahe Station Town, belonging to Dongping County, Tai'an City, Shandong Province, is located in the southern part of Dongping County, bordering Pengji Street in the east, Wenshang County, Jining City in the south, Xinhu Town in the west, and Zhoucheng Street in the north, with an area of 66.22 square kilometers in the town's administrative area. As of the end of 2019, Shahe Station Town had a household population of 59,477.
In the third year of the Song Xianping (1000), it was founded, and has been under the jurisdiction of Dongping. After the twentieth year of the Republic of China (1931), it was part of the sixth district of Dongping County.In November 1985, Shahe Station Town was established. As of June 2020, Shahe Station Town has 65 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is located in Shabei Village.
