Xinhe Town is located in the northwest of Pingdu City, Shandong Province, bordering Laizhou in the north and Changyi in the west, with a horizontal distance of 77.7 kilometers from east to west and 14.5 kilometers from north to south, and it is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Shandong Province, and the hometown of Chinese handicrafts. In 2013, the town has a total area of 189.1 square kilometers, with a total population of 73,200 and 103 administrative villages.
