Li Ge town, belonging to Jining City, Shandong Province, Yutai County, is located in the western part of Yutai County, east of Wangmiao Town border, south of Yucheng Town, west of Jinxiang County, Huayu Town, northwest of Luotun Township as a neighbor, north of the town of Qinghe, the administrative region covers an area of 73.7 square kilometers.
Twenty-sixth year of the Republic of China (1937), Li Ge town territory belongs to the second district of Yutai County; in 1949, belongs to the plains province Huxi Prefecture Yutai County, the first district; in 1953, belongs to the second district of Yutai County; in 1956, belongs to Jinxiang County, Li Ge District; in 1958, belongs to Jinxiang County, Yucheng Commune; in 1962, from the Fish Town Commune, the establishment of the Li Ge Commune; in 1984, changed to the Li Ge Township; in 2000, Li Ge Township and Chenlou Township merged. Lige Township and Chenlou Township merged to form Lige Town; as of the end of 2018, Lige Town had a household population of 42,327, and as of June 2020, Lige Town was under the jurisdiction of 43 administrative villages; the township's people's government was stationed in Lige Village.
