Licun Town, belonging to Mudan District, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwestern part of Mudan District, adjacent to Linpu Town of Jancheng County in the east, neighboring Luling Town and Gaozhuang Town in the south, bordering with Caiyuan Jizhi Town and Wushengqiao Town of Dongming County in the west, and Xicheng Jizhi Town of Puyang County, Henan Province, in the north, across the Yellow River. The area is 108.27 square kilometers.In 2018, the household population was 70,569. In January 1959, it was renamed Gaozhuang Commune.In March 1963, it was set aside from Gaozhuang Commune to establish Licun Commune.In December 1983, when the community was changed to build a township, it was reconstructed as Licun Town.In June 2020, Licun Town had 32 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2018, there are 11 industrial enterprises in Licun Town, and 136 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
