Hanji Town, belonging to Cao County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the northwestern part of Cao County, connected with Brick Temple Town and Qinggangjie Town in the east, adjoining Changlejie Township in the south, neighboring Taoyuanjie Town in the west, and bordering with Dahuangjie Town, Mudan District, and Zhangwan Town, Dingtao County in the north. The area is 76.28 square kilometers.In 2018, the household population was 64,630.
In 1957, Hanji Township was set up.In 1958, it was changed to Liaoyuan Commune, and in November of the same year, it was renamed Hanji Commune with the resident.In December 1983, the community was withdrawn to establish Hanji Town.In June 2020, 32 administrative villages were under the jurisdiction of Hanji Town.
