Kong Town, belonging to Leling City, Dezhou City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwestern part of Leling City, neighboring Yang'an Town in the east, Hualou Town in the south, Youji Town in Ningjin County in the west and Dingwu Town in the north, with an administrative area of 111.55 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Kongzhen is 49,731. The territory of Kongzhen was formerly under the jurisdiction of Deping County in Shandong Province; in December 1988, Leling withdrew the county and set up a city, and was renamed Kongzhen in Leling City; in June 2000, Zhangqiao Township was abolished and incorporated into Kongzhen. As of June 2020, Kong Town has 89 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Kong Town Village. In 2019, Kong Town has 17 industrial enterprises and 51 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
