Laiyang City, a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Shandong Province, administered by Yantai City, is located in the central part of the Jiaodong Peninsula, neighboring Yantai City in the north and Qingdao City in the south, and is a low-hill area with gently undulating hills and criss-crossed ravines; it enjoys a temperate monsoon climate and has a total area of 1,732 square kilometers.
